Use this option if you wish to link your MDaemon Webmail account to your Google Drive account. This allows you to save message attachments directly to your Google Drive, and to edit and work with documents stored there. Once you have linked your MDaemon Webmail account to Google Drive, you can view your folders and download, move, copy, rename, and delete your files, as well as copy/move files to and from your Documents folders. If the Google Drive option is available to you, a Setup Google Drive button will appear on the Cloud Apps page.
To link your Google Drive account:
1.Sign in to MDaemon Webmail.
2.Click the Options icon in the top right corner, and click Cloud Apps.
3.Click Setup Google Drive (this will open an OAuth 2.0 page).
4.Click Connect to Google Drive.
5.If not signed in, Google Drive will ask you for your Google Account sign-in information, or it will ask you to choose an account.
6.You may be presented with a warning message that says, "Google hasn’t verified this app. You’ve been given access to an app that’s currently being tested. You should only continue if you know the developer that invited you." Click Continue.
7.Select which Google Drive features MDaemon Webmail will be able to access, click Continue.
8.A final page will be displayed, stating that MDaemon is now connected to Google Drive. You can close this window.
9.You can now access Google Drive from your Documents page in Webmail.
If after signing in to your Google Account, you are not allowed to continue with the linking process, you should contact your email administrator. You may need to give your administrator the Google account's email address (e.g. name@gmail.com), so that it can be preauthorized with Google, giving you permission to link that account to MDaemon Webmail. |
Some MDaemon Webmail servers provide direct support for Dropbox, which allows you to save file attachments to your Dropbox account and insert direct links to Dropbox files in outgoing messages. If your Webmail allows this, you will be given the option to connect your MDaemon Webmail account to your Dropbox account when you sign in to Webmail. A message will appear at the top of your browser window stating that some Cloud Apps are now supported. Click Go to go the the Cloud Apps page to set it up immediately, or click Later if you wish to do it later. To set it up later, go to the Cloud Apps page under Options.
To setup Dropbox:
1.Click Setup Dropbox.
2.Click Connect to Dropbox in the pop-up window.
3.Sign in to your Dropbox account.
4.Click Allow.
5.Close the window.
The Cloud Apps page should now display your Dropbox account info and several options.
Reconnect Dropbox on Expiration
For security, your Dropbox session will expire every seven days, requiring you to log in again to Dropbox to reconnect your MDaemon Webmail account. Check this box if you wish to automatically open the Dropbox setup when the session expires.
Do Not Reconnect on Login
If you have Webmail set to Reconnect Dropbox on Expiration, click this box if you do not wish to be taken to the Dropbox setup when you first sign in to Webmail.
Hide Save Confirmation
When viewing a message with a file attachment, next to the attachment there is a Dropbox icon that you can click to save it to Dropbox. By default a message pops up to confirm that you do wish to save it to Dropbox. Check this box if you do not wish to see those confirmation messages.
Use this option if you wish to link your MDaemon Webmail account to your Microsoft OneDrive account. This allows you to save message attachments directly to your OneDrive, and to edit and work with documents stored there. Once you have linked your MDaemon Webmail account to OneDrive, you can view your folders and download, move, copy, rename, and delete your files, as well as copy/move files to and from your Documents folders. If the OneDrive option is available to you, a Setup OneDrive button will appear on the Cloud Apps page. Note: Microsoft does not allow you to connect to personal OneDrive accounts through this setup. Only work/school OneDrive accounts can be used here.
To authorize Webmail to access your Work or School OneDrive account:
1.Sign-in to Webmail's Pro theme.
2.Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
3.Click Cloud Apps.
4.Click Setup OneDrive.
5.This will open an OAuth 2.0 dialog.
6.Click Connect to OneDrive.
7.If you are not signed in, Microsoft OneDrive will ask for your sign-in information.
8.Once you are signed in, Microsoft OneDrive will ask if you want to grant MDaemon access to your Microsoft OneDrive account.
9.When you close the OAuth 2.0 dialog, this page will reload shortly thereafter.
Connecting your MDaemon account to your Microsoft OneDrive account allows you to:
•Save message attachments to Microsoft OneDrive
•Upload files to Microsoft OneDrive.
•View a list of Microsoft OneDrive Folders in the folder list.
•Delete and Download files located in Microsoft OneDrive Folders.
•Copy files from MDaemon Document folders to Microsoft OneDrive Folders.
•Copy and move files from Microsoft OneDrive Folders to MDaemon Document folders.
OneDrive Limitations:
•Drag and Drop is not available for the OneDrive folders.
•You cannot copy/move from OneDrive to Google Drive or Dropbox, or vice versa.
•You cannot create/delete OneDrive folders.
