MDaemon Instant Messenger (MDaemon IM) is a desktop application that you can download and install on your computer. It is an instant messenger program that you can use to communicate with other MDaemon IM users who share your email server. It can also monitor your email account for incoming mail, notify you when new messages arrive, allow you to view your message count by folder, and open Webmail in your browser, all from the MDaemon IM icon on your taskbar. MDaemon IM is only available for Microsoft Windows.
Installation
1.Click Options, and then MDaemon Instant Messenger.
2.Click Download the MDaemon Instant Messenger Installer.
3.Depending on you browser settings, you may or may not be asked to select a location and click Save.
4.Locate the file (MDaemonInstantMessenger.exe) on your hard disk and double-click it.
5.Follow the installer's instructions to complete the installation.
Using MDaemon Webmail's In-browser Chat Feature
MDaemon Webmail's Lookout, WorldClient, and Pro themes are equipped with an in-browser instant messaging client that you can use to chat with other MDaemon users. This feature allows you to chat inside Webmail instead of of requiring you to install a separate instant messaging client on your computer. To activate this feature, use the Enable MDaemon's Instant Messaging feature in browser option located on the Personalize page. When enabled, an Instant Messenger icon appears in the top-right corner of the browser and a collapsible messenger pane is displayed on the right. In the Pro theme, under the Tray icon in the top-right corner, tap the "Instant Messenger Login" option. For help with in-browser chat, click the menu button in the bottom-right corner of the messenger pane, and click Online help.
