MDaemon Webmail is a web-based email solution designed to offer you full email functionality through your favorite web browser. You can manage your email, contacts, notes, calendars, and more. Further, because all of your email folders reside on the server instead of your local computer, you have access to everything as if you were at the office, home or anywhere else you would normally check your email. In fact, because of Webmail's extensive feature set, you can use it as your only email client instead of in addition to others. Webmail can easily hold its own against traditional email clients while providing the added bonus of enabling you to access your email from anywhere at anytime. All you need is access to a computer with a web browser or an Internet-enabled device such as a smartphone.
MDaemon Webmail has several different themes, or skins, that allow you to use it in a variety of ways. All of the themes have similar core features but operate slightly differently. Further, some themes have styles associated with them so that you can change their color schemes. We suggest that you try out each theme to find the one that suits you best.
Webmail's Pro theme is recommended, as it is a responsive theme, which automatically adjusts its layout based on your screen size and other factors. This makes it the most versatile theme, enabling you to easily switch between using it on smartphones, tablets or computers. WorldClient and LookOut are robust themes best suited for larger screens such as laptops, and therefore require newer browsers. WorldClient requires at least Internet Explorer 9 and LookOut requires at least version 8, or you can use the latest version of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Chrome. All other themes should operate well with most versions of the commonly used web browsers. We recommend keeping your browser up to date and upgrading when newer versions become available.
