Configuration Files
MDaemon uses a number of plain text files to store some of its data, system-generated message templates, and configuration settings. Click Logs » Config Files to view a list of these files and a short description of each one. Double-click any file you wish to view or edit. After making any desired changes, click Apply or Save and Close on the toolbar above.

Some of these files, such as the .ini files, contain important settings that require correct syntax. This is an advanced option and you should therefore exercise caution when choosing to edit these files directly. In most cases it should be unnecessary to edit any .ini files directly, as these settings are governed by the various options in the remote administration and application interfaces. |
Log Files
This page lists the Name, Size, and Date Modified of MDaemon's various log files. To view a file, select it and then click View or View in New Window. You can also double-click a file to view it in the same window. To download a file, click the file and click Download on the toolbar. When viewing a log file, click Auto Refresh on the toolbar if you wish to cause the viewing page to regularly refresh. You can control how often the page will refresh by using the Log auto refresh interval in seconds option, located on the Remote Admin Log Settings page.
